oratis Digital Radio Communication — Features

Maximum performance due to joined functionality

Combining the products of two global players in the communications business leads to a system with outstanding features and unique capabilities.

The heart of the system is a full summing digital audio router - available in different sizes. All models of communication nodes can be optionally expanded with an Audio-over-IP DANTE™ interface or can be linked with other oratis components. The radio interfaces RIF1 and RIF2 are connected to the bidirectional 2-channel AES3 ports of the communication node with a standard CAT5 network cable. Depending on the application and the total system size you can choose between following products:

oratis Digital Radio Communication — Features

oratis Radio Interfaces: DELEC and Kenwood — A digital symbiosis

The oratis radio interface RIF1 and RIF2 interfaces wired DELEC communication technology with Kenwood radio systems.  The AES3 connection combines both digital audio and control in a single cable. Our control interface allows direct addressing of up to 63 individual calls and up to 189 group calls per mobile radio.
Both individual and group calls can originate from a DELEC station or any Kenwood portable radio. The unique reply function simplifies operation in the field, allowing for a single push answer with an adjustable time window. In addition there are numerous other features of the Kenwood NEXEDGE® technology at your disposal.
