One of the most common applications of commentary systems is sports events. Today, large sports venues are often Gigabit Ethernet networked, this enables an oratis commentary system to be implemented instantly: The only thing left to do is to run short patch cables from the OB truck to the venue’s patch bay and from the stadium network to the COM3 box. This reduces wiring requirements to a minimum!

The complete configuration of all connected COM3-Terminals can be done inside the OB-van.(see graphic).
